According to reports, a juror in Diddy’s federal trial in NYC has been dismissed due to confusion over where he lives, with the judge citing conflicting statements about his residency in the Bronx and New Jersey.
Juror No. 6, a 41-year-old man who works as an accountant clerk at a Manhattan prison, was replaced by a 57-year-old alternate from Westchester County.
Diddy’s attorney objected, arguing the removal was a step backward since the juror was one of the few Black jurors. The dismissed juror had prior legal issues and once sued the Port Authority. He also admitted to a past arrest for insurance fraud.
