Popular street-hop sensation Habeeb Okikiola, widely known as Portable, has cried out after his performance in Abeokuta turned sour, with his vehicle reportedly damaged during the event.
The incident occurred during a performance at the grand opening of a new hotel in the Ogun State capital, where the controversial artist had been billed to headline. What was meant to be a celebratory evening quickly descended into chaos.
Taking to Instagram shortly after the show, Portable expressed his anger and disappointment in a series of heated posts.
“I go perform, dem break my car!” he shouted in a video. “I show love, una pay me back with madness. Ogun go visit una!”
According to Portable, the crowd initially welcomed him with energy, but things spiraled out of control after the performance, with his car vandalized in the commotion that followed.
Eyewitnesses at the scene claim that while the event was well-attended, security presence was minimal, making it difficult to control excited fans and gatecrashers. The artist’s SUV, parked close to the venue, was seen with visible dents and a shattered windshield.

As of the time of this report, there is no confirmation from the Ogun State Police Command regarding arrests or an investigation into the incident. However, Portable has hinted at taking legal action or demanding compensation from the hotel organizers.
This is not the first time Portable has made headlines for post-show drama. Known for his explosive personality and viral social media rants, the singer has been involved in multiple controversies both on and off the stage.
Despite this, he remains a fan favorite, particularly among younger audiences drawn to his raw style and unfiltered commentary.
While some fans sympathized with the singer, others accused him of fueling tension through his own aggressive behavior.
“Portable too dey para. But this one no good. Why damage person car?” one fan commented on X (formerly Twitter).
“He brings energy to the stage, but the organizers need to do better with security,” another wrote.
The singer, whose rise to fame came with the hit single Zazoo Zehh, shows no sign of slowing down. He hinted at upcoming shows in Lagos and Benin, while also issuing a stern warning to event planners about ensuring better crowd control and personal security.
For now, Portable is counting the cost of another chaotic night in the streets and demanding accountability from those responsible.
