American luxury car dealer, believed to be the former owner of the black McLaren Senna Burna Boy recently flaunted, claims the Nigerian superstar was “massively overcharged” for the exotic ride, allegedly paying far above its actual value a staggering $2.1 million.
But what really set the internet ablaze? The man casually admits he had never heard of Burna Boy before… and even refers to the Grammy winner as “some DJ.”

“I heard the car went to someone named Burna… Burna something? DJ or artist? I don’t know, never heard of him,” he says, laughing off the mention. “But he definitely paid way more than the car’s worth.”

The McLaren Senna is a rare, hyper-performance sports car produced in limited numbers a luxury ride often custom-built and extremely hard to come by. It’s not uncommon for high-profile buyers to pay well beyond base value due to specs, upgrades, or exclusivity.

However, the dealer’s tone has sparked debate:
Was it shade, ignorance, or just honest commentary on the high-end car world?
